Dynasty Warriors 8 - Jin Characters

The legendary Warriors return with new characters, new stories and new game-play in Dynasty Warriors 8 for Xbox 360.

Dynasty warriors 8 will be based on the kingdoms of Wei, Wu and Shu and the rise of Jin.

Key Features of Dynasty Warriors 8 on Xbox 360:

Story mode - Featuring new episodes and characters, Story mode takes a deeper look at the drama as it unfolds in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

New Scenarios - DW8 features all-new ‘What if?’ scenarios. Breaking away from historical fact, this mode takes a look at what could have happened if famous characters had lived to fight another day. Allowing the story to branch out into different directions, giving players the power to play an alternative history based on their choices.

New and returning characters - DW8 offers over 70 playable characters, with returning fan-favorites and new members to the series – including the highly anticipated officers Yue Jin and Li Dian from the Wei Kingdom.

A New Landscape - Taking further inspiration from the landscape of ancient China, Omega Force gives a stronger emphasis to the setting of these epic battles. 40 new stages have been created, with verdant plains, sharp ravines, desolate wastelands and towering castles just the start of the breathtaking settings!

 Co-op play - DW8 will offer co-op play both offline and online!

Jin Characters

Deng Ai - Deng Ai then carried out his own plan with his son Deng Zhong and troops and it turned out to be a great success. They eventually managed to enter Chengdu, and the Shu emperor Liu Shan surrendered.

Guo Huai -  He rose up the ranks and became a subordinate of the Wei marshal Sima Yi. Guo Huai defeated the Qiang and Di tribes several times and defended Cao Wei from Jiang Wei's campaigns.

(*) Jia Chong - He was an official of Jing. And was made Duke Wu of Lu. He also served three generations of the Sima family. Dying under the first emperor of Jin's rule.

Sima Shi - He was the oldest son of Sima Yi. He helped his father take control of the Wei government  He held a tight grip over the government which allowed him to give it to his younger brother after his death.

Sima Zhao - He maintained control of Wei, seized by his father Sima Yi and maintained by his older brother Sima Shi, and had himself created the Duke of Jin. After his death his son made him emperor.

Sima Yi - The head of the Sima clan and a renowned strategist  He was the rival of Zhuge Liang. He once said after Zhuge Liang's death there was no one clever than Zhuge Liang on this entire Earth

(*) Wen Yang - Wen Yang was a general of the Wei army. He than went on to join the Sima family in their revolt. He was an amazing warrior as he was compared to Zhou Yun.

Wang Yuanji - She is the wife of Sima Zhao. When her son Sima Yan became ruler of Wei she was honored as an empress like her mother in law. She was renamed after her death.

Xiahou Ba - He was a military general of the Wei army. As the second son of Xiahou Yuan he was from one of the leading military families at the time. He defected from Wei and joined Shu.

(*) Zhang Chunhua - She is a new character to the series. She was the wife of Sima Yi. After her death she was honored as empress of the Jin dynasty by her grandson Sima Yan.

Zhong Hui - He was once a warrior of Wei however he defected and joined the Sima Clan in there campaign to control Wei. He later joined Jiang Wei and was killed by Liu Shan. His death was seen as a pity.

Zhuge Dan - A member of the Zhuge Clan like all the others in his clan he was very intelligent  He was also a strong warrior slaying all before him. He served Jin as a strategist.
