Pokemon of the day...

Quagsire

Quagsire

Reasons Why?

Quagsire is a Water/Ground type Pokemon. In the anime Quagsire first appeared in Once in a Blue Moon. It stole the GS Ball from Ash for a festival. A Quagsire has appeared in Training Wrecks, under the ownership of Rocky. Quagsire battled Ash's Pikachu and Grovyle, alongside a Walrein. Before Pikachu could nail Walrein with its Electric Attacks, Quagsire would protect Walrein from being shocked, due to its immunity to Electricity while Walrein's Ice Ball hit Grovyle and Pikachu hard, but after the Ice Ball went slower every turn, Pikachu and Grovyle defeated Walrein and Quagsire. Crasher Wake owns a Quagsire, which appeared in A Crasher Course in Power!Multiple Quagsire appeared in A Faux Oak Finish! In the game Quagsire is a powerful Pokemon and isn't affected by Electric type moves as it is part Ground type. It is also able to learn some amazing moves. Some of the moves Quagsire is able to use are Ice Beam, Iron Tail and Earthquake.

Dreamworld Ability!

Quagsire's dreamworld ability is ''Unaware'' This is a new ability that was introduced in Generation 4. This means Quagsire Ignores any stat changes in the Pokémon. This is a very good ability as Quagsire will be able to use moves which lower the users stats without the hassle off becoming weaker. Quagsire's other abilities are quite impressive as well. Quagsire's water absorb ability is my favorite ability for a water type Pokemon as a Pokemon with Water Absorb heals 1/4 of its maximum HP when hit by a Water type attack. This can become very useful in double battles as one Pokemon can use the move surf and heal Quagsire whilst inflicting damage on their opponents. Another pro if having this ability is that Quagsire becomes immune to Water type moves as well as Electric type moves. Quagsire's final ability is Damp. A Pokemon with the ability Damp prevents all Pokemon on the field from using the moves Selfdestruct and Explosion. It also prevents damage (to the Damp Pokemon only) from the ability Aftermath. This is very useful if you want to catch a Pokemon like Drifblim or Skuntank.

Most Powerful move

Most powerful move : Blizzard
Power : 120
PP : 5
Accuracy : 70 percent

Blizzard deals damage and has a 10% chance of freezing the target. It will hit both opponents in a double battle or adjacent opponents in a triple battle. Pokemon with the ability Magma Armor cannot be frozen. During a hailstorm, Blizzard has 100% accuracy. The description of the move Blizzard in Pokemon black and white is that it is A howling blizzard is summoned to strike the opposing team. It may also freeze them solid. In Diamond/Pearl only, Blizzard had a 25% chance of hitting through Protect or Detect during hail. In Generation 1, Blizzard has 90% accuracy. In the original Japanese Red/Green, it had a 30% chance to freeze the opponent. Now Blizzard is a very strong move however it isn't very accurate and the chances off freezing another Pokemon is very slim however the accuracy can be improved by carrying around the move Hail. But many people wouldn't do so as it would be a waste off space in the team so I would suggest they carry around the Pokemon Abomasnow who has the ability ''Snow Warning'' which causes Hail. Overall I think the move Ice Beam would be a better choice as it has more PP and is as powerful and also has the potential off freezing Pokemon.
