Dynasty Warriors 8 - Shu Characters

The legendary Warriors return with new characters, new stories and new game-play in Dynasty Warriors 8 for Xbox 360.

Dynasty warriors 8 will be based on the kingdoms of Wei, Wu and Shu and the rise of Jin.

Key Features of Dynasty Warriors 8 on Xbox 360:

Story mode - Featuring new episodes and characters, Story mode takes a deeper look at the drama as it unfolds in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

New Scenarios - DW8 features all-new ‘What if?’ scenarios. Breaking away from historical fact, this mode takes a look at what could have happened if famous characters had lived to fight another day. Allowing the story to branch out into different directions, giving players the power to play an alternative history based on their choices.

New and returning characters - DW8 offers over 70 playable characters, with returning fan-favorites and new members to the series – including the highly anticipated officers Yue Jin and Li Dian from the Wei Kingdom.

A New Landscape - Taking further inspiration from the landscape of ancient China, Omega Force gives a stronger emphasis to the setting of these epic battles. 40 new stages have been created, with verdant plains, sharp ravines, desolate wastelands and towering castles just the start of the breathtaking settings!

 Co-op play - DW8 will offer co-op play both offline and online!

Shu - Characters

Bao Sanniang - She is a brave and strong warrior and the wife of Guan Suo. She fights for her wife she with Xingcai has been praised as the future of Shu.

Guan Ping - He is the adopted son of the mighty Guan Yu and he wishes to be an equal of his father. He dies at the battle of Fan Castle with his father.

Guan Suo - He is the husband of Boa Sanniang, also the son of Guan Yu. He was a capable officer and fought mostly in Zhuge Liang's Southern Campaigns.

(*) Guan Xing - The son of Guan Yu and sworn brother of Zhang Boa he was mostly known for his battles in the North. Whereas Zhang Boa was known for his battles in the South.

(*) Guan Yinping - She was the daughter of Guan Yu, it has been said that Sun Quan's son had proposed to Guan Yinping. However the Guan family refused the proposal.

Guan Yu - Known as the ''God Of War'' and was the leader of the five tiger generals. He was also the sworn brother of Liu Bei and Zhang Fei. His downfall was due to his carelessness. 

Huang Zhong - An old veteran of Liu Bei's He tries to prove that old soldiers are just as good as young soldiers. He took down the mighty Xiahou yuan at Mt Ding Jun.

Jiang Wei - Knows as the future of Shu, he has been entrusted with Zhuge Liang's knowledge. He was killed by Liu Chan who had given up the lands of Shu to save himself.

Liu Bei - The first emperor of Shu and sworn brother of Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. He is known throughout the land for his loyalty and compassion. He died from the guilt of not being able to avenge his brothers.

Liu Shan - The second ruler of Shu, however he is too kind and doesn't have the skills to rule the land unlike his father Liu Bei. He trains in secret to hone his skill

Ma Chao - A warrior known for his strong sense of justice. He is the son of Ma Teng and from the lands of Xi Liang. He was taken in by Liu Bei at a time of great need.

Ma Dai - The cousin of Ma Chao he has fought together with his cousin since the murder of Ma Chao's father. His choice of weapon id the paint brush.

Pang Tong - Known as the fledgling phoenix, some say he is an equal off the sleeping dragon. He is known for his quick schemes.

Wei Yan - He isn't trusted by his companions however he never gives up and is a fierce and loyal servant of Liu Bei. His strength had been acknowledged by Sima Yi.

Xingcai - The daughter of Zhang Fei and the wife of Liu Zhang. Unlike her father she is able to hide her feelings. It seemed she had feelings for Guan Ping.

Xu Shu - He was first the strategist of Liu Bei however his mother was kidnapped by Coa Coa. Before he left he told Liu Bei that Zhuge Liang should be his replacement.

Yueying - The wife of Zhuge Liang, she wasn't pretty but Zhuge Liang sought her out as she was wise and intelligent.

(*) Zhang Boa - The son of Zhang Fei and sworn brother of Guan Xing. He and his sworn brother were known for their might.

Zhang Fei - He was on of the five tiger generals and the sworn brother of Liu Bei and Guan Yu. It was said he had the might of 10,000 soldiers. However this led to his downfall.

Zhao Yun - The dragon of Chang Sha, he traveled the land in search of a master worthy of him. One day he met Liu Bei and joined him. He died at the battle of Cheng Du.

Zhuge Liang - A master strategist known as the sleeping dragon. It was well known in China whomever had the sleeping dragon or the fledgling phoenix on their side will one day rule the land.
