Sceptile

Reasons why?

Sceptile is a Grass type Pokemon. Sceptile is an amazing Pokemon with a variety off moves. It is also one off Ash Ketchum most loyal Pokemon and his strongest Pokemon as it could defeat Darkrai a legendary Pokemon  It could also resist falling asleep. A power to be reckoned with. For sure. Sceptile first appeared in Shocks and Bonds. Tyson was using the Forest Pokémon to battle an Aggron during the Hoenn League. In the game Sceptile is also a very powerful Pokemon who like the other starter Pokemon is able to use a large variety of moves. Some of the moves Sceptile is able to use are Earthquake, X-Scissor and Dragon Claw. Skeptile also has awesome speed therefore making sure it always attacks first.

Dreamworld ability!

Ability : ''Unburden'' This raises Sceptiles speed to an awesome level if a held item is used. (As if it needs it). Like all starter Grass type Pokemon Sceptile's other ability is ''Overgrow''. ''Overgrow'' increases the power of Grass type moves by 50% (1.5×) when the ability-bearer's HP falls below a third of its maximum (known in-game as in a pinch). This is very useful ability as it can change the whole outcome of a battle. And as Sceptile is already a powerful Pokemon it can score a win in a battle. I would prefer a Sceptile with it's normal abilities as it is more likely a trainer would teach there Grass type Pokemon Grass type moves.

Most powerful move : Frenzy Plant

Power : 150

PP : 5

Accuracy : 90 percent

The user slams the target with an enormous tree. The user can’t move on the next turn. The downfall of this move is that it must be used as a one of kill or you will be defenseless on the next move. This is a very powerful attack which isn't a 100 percent accurate which mean it can miss and make your Sceptile vulnerable to attack the next turn. Therefore it is in some ways a gamble. And this could lead to your downfall. Overall I would suggest you use a more better move like Leaf blade which is also a powerful move with more accuracy than Frenzy Plant another problem you have with the move Frenzy Plant is that your Pokemon must have maximum happiness for it to learn this move and if you want to teach it to a Pokemon you have just traded to your game then you must find ways of making it happy.
