Dynasty Warriors 8 - Wu Characters

The legendary Warriors return with new characters, new stories and new game-play in Dynasty Warriors 8 for Xbox 360.

Dynasty warriors 8 will be based on the kingdoms of Wei, Wu and Shu and the rise of Jin.

Story mode - Featuring new episodes and characters, Story mode takes a deeper look at the drama as it unfolds in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

New Scenarios - DW8 features all-new ‘What if?’ scenarios. Breaking away from historical fact, this mode takes a look at what could have happened if famous characters had lived to fight another day. Allowing the story to branch out into different directions, giving players the power to play an alternative history based on their choices.

New and returning characters - DW8 offers over 70 playable characters, with returning fan-favorites and new members to the series – including the highly anticipated officers Yue Jin and Li Dian from the Wei Kingdom.

A New Landscape - Taking further inspiration from the landscape of ancient China, Omega Force gives a stronger emphasis to the setting of these epic battles. 40 new stages have been created, with verdant plains, sharp ravines, desolate wastelands and towering castles just the start of the breathtaking settings!

 Co-op play - DW8 will offer co-op play both offline and online!

Wu Characters

Daqiao - The wife of Sun Ce said to be more mature and compassionate than her younger sister  Xiaoqiao. It has been said she is one of the most beautiful women in China.

Ding Feng - He is known for his valor  Ding Feng joined Wu in Sun Quan's regime he was promoted to an officer due to being a brave selfless hero. And was praised for his strength.

Gan Ning - He was once a pirate but wanted to make an honest living for himself. He was once an officer of Huang Zhu however he wasn't promoted so he went and joined Sun Quan.

(*) Han Dang - He was one of Sun Jian's first warriors along with Huang Gai. He served the Wu kingdom for three generations.Han Dang was known to be a good military commander who often encouraged his men.

Huang Gai - One of Sun Jian's first warriors along with Han Dang. It was because of him that Wu won the battle of Chi Bi. He served three generations of the Sun family.

Lianshi - She was the wife of Sun Quan the emperor of the Wu kingdom. She never became the empress of Wu even though Sun Quan wanted her to be as his advisers suggested his son's wife should be.

Ling Tong - The son of Ling Cao he had a grudge against Ga Ning as he had killed his father. He was a very brace warrior who had a sarcastic side. He later befriended Gan Ning.

Lu Meng - The disciple of Lu Su and also his successor. He was a mighty warrior however he lacked in his studies. Sun Quan advised him to study and so he did. He was known to have killed Guan Yu.

(*) Lu Su - The commander of the Wu forces after Zhou Yu's death. He was present at the battle of Chi Bi and was one of the people who suggested Sun Shangxiang should marry Liu Bei. 

Lu Xun - Commander of Wu from a very young age after Lu Meng's death. His clever tactics helped Wu achieve many victories. He was the one to advise Lu Meng to attack the tribes in the south.

Sun Ce - The son of Sun Jian and the older brother of Sun Quan and Sun Shangxiang , he was known as the''Little Conqueror'' as he was able to subdue the lands of Jiang Dong very quickly.

Su  Jian - He was known as the ''Tiger of Jiang Dong'' as he was known for killing many tigers. He was also the head of the Sun family. He was killed in the battle of the Jing province.

Sun Quan - The first emperor of Wu and the younger brother of Sun Ce. He became the ruler of Wu at the tender age of 18. He studied the martial arts from a young age and became a great ruler.

Sun Shangxiang - She was a tomboy who like her older brothers studied the martial arts from a very young age. She was later wed to Liu Bei however this was a scheme to keep the peace with Shu.

Taishi Ci - He was on Liu Yong's warriors however Liu Yong couldn't use him properly. He also fought with Sun Ce, There battle ended in a draw. He was a mighty warrior who paid his debts.

Xiaoqiao - The wife of Zhou Yu and the sister of Daqiao. Unlike her sister who was humble and gentle she was the total opposite, quite childish. She was also said to have been one of most beautiful women in China.

Zhou Tai - He was once a pirate but the he joined Wu. He is a silent warrior and he had saved Sun Quan's life on many occasions. He thought Lu Xun was too young to be a commander.

Zhou Yu - Sworn brother of his lord Sun Ce, he and Sun Ce had taken over Jiang Dong very quickly. He was put in charge of Wu after Sun Ce's death. He died after the battle of Chi Bi.
