Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

A new Pokemon has been revealed...

Honedge

Honedge comes into being when a departed spirit inhabits a sword that once belonged to humans. It can use the blue cloth attached to its hilt as nimbly as an arm. If you were to carelessly take this blade in hand, you may find that blue cloth wrapping around you...draining the energy from your body! (Our typical Ghost type Pokemon then). I have a feeling that this Pokemon will not evolve and if it does it will have to be traded to achieve it's maximum potential. The only move we know that Honedge will have is Sword Dance which in my opinion is an amazing move to use to boost your Pokemon's power. I think they should make new Ghost and Steel type moves for this Pokemon as there aren't many strong moves in both of these categories.

My opinion on this Pokemon is that it is cool. And I think this will be the first Ghost type Pokemon which will have decent stats unlike others we have seen previously throughout the Pokemon series. Honedge will be part Steel type therefore Ground type moves will be super effective against it however it probably will have the special effect ''Levitate''. Levitate causes the Pokemon to be raised (like Flying - type Pokemon). Raised Pokemon are not affected by Ground-type moves, Spikes, Toxic Spikes nor Arena TrapRaised Pokemon are any Pokemon that hover above the ground - specifically Flying types, Pokemon with the Levitate ability or those under the effects of Magnet Rise or Telekinesis.  Pokemon no longer stay raised (and cannot become raised) if Gravity or Ingrain is in effect, the move Smack Down is used against them, or Iron Ball is held. Fire type moves will also be super effective against Honedge.  And as Honedge is part Ghost type it isn't affected by the super effective Fighting type which would in some ways destroy a Steel type Pokemon. Honedge isn't affected by Poison type Pokemon as like I have said it is part Steel type and Poison type moves have no effect against Steel type Pokemon. Ghost and Dark type moves are super effective against Ghost type Pokemon however as it is part Steel type these moves won't be super effective against it.

OK now lets get of the topic of this totally amazing new Pokemon and let's talk more about the new features of this game

For the first time in the history of the Pokemon games there will be Seven Languages in one game. We get to choose which language to play your next Pokémon game in!. When you play Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, you'll be able to select from seven languages at the beginning of your adventure! In previous games in the main Pokémon series, you were limited to using just one language. Now you can play in English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, or Italian! Note that once you select a language, you won't be able to change languages again during game-play.

Another new feature is Pokemon Amie

Show your Pokémon some love with the new Pokémon-Amie feature! Play with your Pokémon, give them treats, and even scratch and pet them using the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system's Touch Screen.

You can use Pokémon-Amie at any time to play with the Pokémon that are in your team. You'll need to play with them over and over to learn their preferred way of being cared for. Treat them well to make them feel loved. Treat them badly, and they may show their displeasure!

The more you play with your Pokémon, the friendlier they will become. As your Pokémon becomes more friendly, it may perform better in battle—by avoiding opponents’ attacks, landing critical hits, and more!

Another feature they are bringing back from Pokemon Black and White is more than one friend. Some of the friends you will meet on your journey are :-

Shauna

Shauna is an energetic girl who is eager to discover her own dreams. But she's also genuinely curious about her friends' progress in their travels! She reminds me of Bianca who is in some ways also very energetic.

Tierno

Tierno is burly and nimble, and his goal is to create a dance team with his Pokémon! He pays close attention to Pokémon when they battle to see he if he can incorporate their actions into new dance moves. He reminds me of Brock, Tracy and Cilan as he has a goal in mind like all of them. In some ways he's the follower.

Trevor

Trevor's goal is to be the first of the group to complete his Pokedex. He's a great student, bursting with curiosity, but he admits that he has much to learn to become a great Trainer. Trevor seems to be the rival of the game as the rival in all the previous games all wanted to complete their Pokedex.

I hope you enjoyed the new information if you have any suggestions you can contact me. My contact details are on my ''Contact Me'' page please do not hesitate to email me personally on my email or use the Twitter page I have set up for my viewers.
