Machamp

Reasons Why?

Machamp is an Fighting type Pokemon. In the anime Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket and the former Gym Leader of Viridian City, has a Machamp. He loaned it to Jessie, James and Meowth after he put them in charge of the Viridian Gym in The Battle of the Badge. Morrison battled against a Machamp belonging to a very muscular Trainer named Gavin during the Hoenn League in From Brags to Riches. Morrison's Gligar managed to defeat Gavin's Machamp. Machamp first appeared in The Punchy Pokémon competing in the P1 Grand Prix. A Machamp was used by Raymond to battle Ash's Squirtle during the opening of Mewtwo Strikes Back. A Machamp, under the ownership of an unnamed Trainer, appeared in The Mandrin Island Miss-Match. Machamp also appeared in The Power of One. A Machamp was seen in a fantasy in The Rivalry Revival. A Machamp appeared in Beauty and the Breeder where it participated in a Pokémon breeding competition. A Machamp was one of the Pokémon competing in the Sumo Conference in Ring Masters. It went up against Ash's Snorlax in the semifinals and lost. A Machamp was one of the Pokémon seen at Chuck's Gym in Machoke, Machoke Man!. A Machamp belonging to Noland made a cameo appearance in Numero Uno Articuno. In Sitting Psyduck, Emily used Machamp and its two pre - evolved forms to chase after her runaway Psyduck. Several Machamp and Machoke appear as construction workers in Bibarel Gnaws Best!. In the game Machamp is a very impressive Pokemon with very high stats, and is able to learn variety of moves. The only problem I have with Machamp is that it has to be traded for it to evolve therefore it becomes difficult. Some of the moves Machamp is able to learn are Semitic toss, Earthquake and Fire Blast.

Dreamworld Ability!

Machamp's dreamworld ability is ''Steadfast'' this raises Machamp's Speed stat each time the Pokémon flinches. This isn't very useful as Machamp doesn't need a speed boost however it can like always change the tide of a battle as Speed is essential as the fastest Pokemon always moves first therefore they are likely to win the match unless a move like Revenge is used. Machamp's second ability is ''No Guard''. No Guard ensures that all attacks used by, and targeted at, the ability-bearer hit without fail. This includes moves used on a Pokemon in the hidden stages of the moves Fly, Dive, Dig and Shadow Force.  This special effect also has an effect on the outside world as If a Pokemon with No Guard is leading the party Pokemon, wild Pokemon are twice as likely to appear. This ability isn't amazing in single combat however if you are in a double battle you could use moves like Solar Beam and Giga Impact without having to worry about the effects of using the moves as Machamp would act as a scape goat in this situation.

Accuracy : 70 percent

Blizzard deals damage and has a 10% chance of freezing the target. It will hit both opponents in a double battle or adjacent opponents in a triple battle. Pokemon with the ability Magma Armor cannot be frozen. During a hailstorm, Blizzard has 100% accuracy. The description of the move Blizzard in Pokemon black and white is that it is A howling blizzard is summoned to strike the opposing team. It may also freeze them solid. In Diamond/Pearl only, Blizzard had a 25% chance of hitting through Protect or Detect during hail. In Generation 1, Blizzard has 90% accuracy. In the original Japanese Red/Green, it had a 30% chance to freeze the opponent. Now Blizzard is a very strong move however it isn't very accurate and the chances off freezing another Pokemon is very slim however the accuracy can be improved by carrying around the move Hail. But many people wouldn't do so as it would be a waste off space in the team so I would suggest they carry around the Pokemon Abomasnow who has the ability ''Snow Warning'' which causes Hail. Overall I think the move Ice Beam would be a better choice as it has more PP and is as powerful and also has the potential off freezing Pokemon. Overall I would use the move Ice Beam instead as it is as strong and also has the chance of freezing your opponenets Pokemon. And it also has more PP therefore making it more reliable.
