Route 2 in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is connects Hau'oli City and to Route 3. You can find Hau'oli Cemetery, Big Wave Beach, Verdant Cavern and Berry Fields on this route.

If you're entering Route 2 for the first time, a man on the left tells you about rustling patches in tall grass. This indicates a feisty Pokemon that’s more difficult to defeat than your average Pokemon, but may leave an item behind! Go ahead and check out the Pokemon in the grass before crossing paths with the trainer to the right.

When you reach the top of the path, it will split into 3. On the left side is a path blocked by rocks which can only be accessed once you get Tauros as a Poke Ride. The right path behind the patch of tall grass leads to Hau'oli Cemetery. Continue north on Route 2. You’ll fight another trainer.

You’ll reach another split in the path. To the left is a seaside motel and Big Wave Beach. Up ahead will be a Berry Fields, a Pokemon Center, and the entrance to Verdant Cavern. For now, head to the right towards the small house. There’s not much to find here other than 2 Totem Stickers.



Continue following the dirt path to the right until it leads you to some tall grass. Walk through it and you’ll find a Heal Ball. Jump down onto the path and continue right to the Hau’oli Cemetery where you can fight trainers, catch Ghost-type Pokemon, and find some items.



Once back on Route 2, head north again.



Head to the left to explore Big Wave Beach. On your way there, the owner of the seaside motel will stop you to show you the way.



When you return, run behind the truck in front of the seaside motel to pick up a Super Potion. Enter the motel room behind it with the green door and talk to the gentlemen sitting down at the table. He will give you 2 Nest Balls.



Return to the main path of Route 2 and keep walking north. To the right, will be another trainer.

Take the path on the right to Berry Fields. Talk to the man standing next to the Delibird and the Berry tree and he will give you an [[berries|Oran berry]]. He’ll ask you to fetch him a Persim Berry. You should be able to find that and more berries underneath the Berry trees.



On the side of the house is a Totem Sticker. Behind the house and you’ll find Silver Powder. Go into the house and talk to all the Delibirds. One of them will give you a Revive. Go back into the field and check the basket next to the brown bin on the right to find a Repel. On the west side of the field, you’ll find a Big Mushroom. Run around to the other side of the green fertilizer bags and check the flower pots to find a Paralyze Heal.



Get back on the main road of Route 2 and you’ll see the two strange individuals you saw at Iki Town. Continue onward into the tall grass which will split into two paths. Take the the left side, following the fence. Enter the opening and take another left, following the path all the way around to find a Revive. Hop down from the ledge to challenge the trainer.

Head back to the path and take the right side where you’ll run into a Lass.

Pick up the Super Potion behind the trainer. Continue up Route 2 and you’ll bump into Hau in front of the Pokemon Center. He’ll give you 3 Revives and you’ll try your first Roto Loto.



The woman near the cafe in the blue dress and hat will want to see a Crawbrawler. Rest your Pokemon and grab any items you will need before heading to your first trial.



Leave the Pokemon Center and head to the red flag on your map.
