Once past the barriers, walk through Dividing Peak Tunnel. At the end, Ultra Recon Squad will be there but they won’t battle you. When you reach Route 8, follow the main street. There will be a father and a Little Boy to the right and the Little Boy will want to see a Passimian.



Immediately next to them is a small Aether Foundation facility. Head inside and talk to the woman at the front. She’ll ask if you want to work for Aether Foundation part time. If you agree, they will want to see Goomy data in your Pokedex. This can be obtained in Lush Jungle.



To the right will be the Alolan Vulpix from Paniola Town. It will be happy to see you and the attendant will ask if you can com visit from time to time. Leave and walk further up the main road.



You’ll bump into a scientist called Colress. To the right, a Totem Sticker will be on the back Aether Foundation facility. Head through the tall grass on the side and follow the path that leads down to the water. Fight the trainer at the bottom.

Pick up the Big Pearl next to her. If you use the ledge to jump down, there’s a nice fishing spot. Head back up the path and get back onto the main street. Continue until you see a trainer standing on top of a hill.

Go through the tall grass to his right and take the path leading up to where he’s standing. Follow the dirt path until another path with some tall grass appears. Take that path and follow it. Grab the Berries from under the tree (Crabrawler will jump out.)



Head south down the dirt path and fight the trainer.

Continue until you’re back of level ground. Explore the tall grass to the west near the water. Head all the way back and pick up the Ultra Ball. Get back on the main road and cross the street. There will be a scientist who wants to battle.

Continue on this road until you see Hau. He will tell you about Festival Plaza. Stop at the Pokemon Center to stock up on items and heal your pokemon. The backpacker near the cafe will want to trade her Arbok for a Trumbeak.



Leave and talk to the Little Boy next to the center. He will want to battle.

Head into the Roadside Motel lobby next to the Pokemon Center. There’s a vending machine here where you can stock up on Fresh Water and Soda Pop (both much cheaper than buying potions.) Gladion is staying in one of the rooms here but he won’t say much to you. Head to the east of the hotel and follow the path towards the back. There will be a Dive Ball and a golfer who wants to battle.

Head back to the parking lot and there will be another golfer to battle.

Take the path across from the Roadside Motel, but instead of following the path all the down and into the Lush Jungle, turn right at the fork. You’ll see a Wimpod on the rocky shore but don’t approach it! You’re going to have to go around on Lapras in the water, and come out the other side so you can physically block it from running into its den.



Head west in the water until you find a Water Stone at the bottom in the water. Then get on the land in the center of the pool and battle the trainers there.

Return to the shore opposite of the Wimpod. It will scurry around when you approach it. Block its path so it’s likely to run into you! Once you battle it, it will leave an item behind, like a Big Pearl.



Head back up the path and make your way into the Lush Jungle to start your next trial!
