Route 3



Route 3 is a short path on the north side of Melemele Island in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It connects Route 2 to the west with Route 1 in the southeast. Melemele Meadow, and Seaside Cave are accessible on Route 3.

There will be 2 paths you can take on. Take the left path and fight the trainer.

Explore the right side of the tall grass and you’ll find a Heal Ball. Continue up Route 3 and you’ll find another trainer.

Backtrack down the other path and circle around. You’ll find a Sharp Beak. Follow the red flag on your map to get to Melemele Meadow just up ahead.



There’s a trainer in blue standing near the entrance but he won’t battle you until you defeat all the trainers on Route 3 first. Complete Melemele Meadow before continuing on Route 3.

Continue on Route 3, passing by the bridge entrance. You’ll find another trainer next to some tall grass by the edge of the cliff but instead of fighting you, he’ll give you a Soothe Bell.



Backtrack and talk to the guy to the left of the bridge. He’ll show you a rainbow and bid you good luck on your journey. Cross the bridge and fight the last trainer on Route 3.

He will give you the TM19 Roost! This allows Flying-type Pokemon to recover half of their health. Once finished with that, head out of Route 3. Make sure to grab the Super Potion on the right before continuing down the next path that takes you back towards Iki Town.
