Hinata Poem - Naruto fan fiction by BWL

Hinata isn’t a powerful medical nin. She uses the Hyuuga family’s special ointments. Get over it. She has a unique skills set of her own.

She isn't a little girl or a child. She isn't ridiculously naive. She is not around to give stories pedophilic undertones.

She isn't a damsel in distress. She isn't Bella from Twilight, nor is she a Disney Princess.

She doesn't blush or stutter in every single word she attempts. She does not blush and stutter whenever she communicates with her teammates, sensei, or other people she is comfortable around. She isn't snarky or sarcastic either.

She isn't a housewife. She would not retire from her shinobi lifestyle the moment she meets a man. She isn't constantly cleaning, cooking, and doing other housewife-things.

She isn’t an object. She isn’t a pair of breasts. She isn’t a man’s property. And isn’t a slot for someone to deposit his dick.

She doesn’t do shifts at the hospital, or train under Tsunade. She doesn’t wield a sword, or use electric techniques. She can’t copy techniques with byakugan, or see things as fast as Sasuke can.

She isn’t as or more powerful than Sasuke or Naruto. She doesn’t randomly have super-speed, super-strength, or anyone else’s techniques.

She isn’t a master chef. She doesn’t have an angelic singing voice. She doesn’t sit at home waiting for her man all day.

She doesn’t have pale white porcelain skin. She isn’t more pale than anyone aside from Naruto. And ghostly pale isn’t sexy unless you’re a sparkly vampire, apparently. She isn’t thin and frail, and that isn’t sexy either.

She has a high IQ. Use that. She is a Hyuuga, and is capable of achieving the techniques every other Hyuuga can perform. She has a strong will. She looks deceivingly defenseless. She’s more exotic-looking than the other girls.

She wasn’t made to complement a love-interest. She is a unique character.

Don’t turn Hinata into a Mary-Sue/cheerleader/blow-up doll/etcetera.

Develop her. Or slowly back away.
