Pokemon of the day...

Scizor

Scizor

Reasons Why?

Scizor is a Bug/Steel type Pokemon. In the anime Scizor was first seen under the ownership of a Trainer named Shingo who thought he could always predict the outcome of a match by the database on his computer in Wired For Battle. In the same episode, the Trainer Muramasa has a Scizor named Masamune. The Iron-Masked Marauder used a Scizor to retrieve Celebi in Celebi: Voice of the ForestGary Oak used a Scizor against Ash in Can't Beat the Heat! It beat Ash's Snorlax and Muk, but lost to Ash's Charizard. In A Judgment Brawl, Katie used a Scizor to battle Ash's Swellow during the Hoenn League. Katie's Scizor lost. In Curbing the Crimson Tide, a girl named Luna had a Scizor disguise itself as "Red Lightning". Red Lightning went around a city, battling other people's Pokémon. Red Lightning would then scribble on the defeated Pokemon's face. The disguised Scizor's reign of terror ended when Ash's Pikachu blasted its costume off and Ash's Sceptile defeated it in battle. A Scizor under the ownership of McCann battled Ash's Gliscor in Mastering Current Events! In Zoroark: Master of Illusions, two Scizor are owned by Goone. In the game Scizor is a very strong Pokemon who is able to use a large variety of moves. This makes it a very strong opponent and an even stronger ally. Some of the moves Scizor is able to use are Night Slash, Air Slash and Bug Buzz.

Dreamworld Ability!

Scizor dreamworld ability is ''Light Metal''. Light Metal halves the Pokemon's weight in battle. Decreasing weight affects some moves such as Grass Knot (lower damage when receiving). Heat Crash (lower damage when attacking, higher damage when receiving). Heavy Slam (lower damage when attacking, higher damage when receiving). Low Kick (lower damage when receiving). This is a very useful ability as moves such as Heat Cash and Low Kick do allot of damage on Scizor and this will reduce the affects of this. Scizor's other ability is ''Technician'' which increases the power of moves - that are usually base power 60 or below - by 50%. Moves with variable base power are boosted only when it is 60 or below. For example, if Magnitude hits at level 6 it will be boosted from 50 to 75, but level 7 will stay at 70 base power. Moves like Sonic Boom that deal fixed HP damage are not affected by Technician. This is also a very good ability as it will power allot of moves up which could change the tide of the battle in your favor. And it's final ability is ''Swarm'' which increases the power of Bug type moves by 50% (1.5×) when the ability-bearer's HP falls below a third of its maximum (known in-game as in a pinch). It also has an outside effect which is that If a Pokemon with Swarm is leading the party Pokemon, wild Pokemon are twice as likely to appear. The outside ability of this ability isn't great however this doesn't change anything as you could just with Scizor with another Pokemon.

Most Powerful move

Most powerful move : Superpower
Power : 120
PP : 5
Accuracy : 100 percent

Superpower deals damage but lowers the user's Attack and Defense by one stage each after attacking. Stats can be lowered to a minimum of -6 stages each. The good thing about this move is that it has 100 percent accuracy unlike other moves of this caliber . The Pokedex description of this move is. The user attacks the target with great power. However, it also lowers the user’s Attack and Defense. Now let's talk about the cons of this powerful move. Some of the disadvantages of having this move that it lowers your attack and defense stats tremendously but this stat change could be avoided using a berry. Although berries are very rare. Another con is that the PP is very low however a PP up can be used to change the PP of this move to 8 however they can't be bought therefore they are also very expensive. Overall I wouldn't use this move as it has too many floes. I would instead use Brick Break as it is also very powerful and is a also very popular. It has more PP and also has 100 percent accuracy like the move Superpower.
