Chespin (Grass)
The Grass-type Pokemon Chespin has a tough shell covering its head and back. Despite having a curious nature that tends to get it in trouble, Chespin keeps an optimistic outlook and doesn't worry about small details. My opinion of Chespin is that it looks really cool. This will be the Pokemon I choose as I have a feeling it will be a grass and ground type.
Fennekin (Fire)
Searing heat blows from the ears of the Fire-type Pokemon Fennekin. This Pokemon loves to snack on twigs. Fennekin can be temperamental, but it tries to do its best for its Trainer. I don't like the look of this Pokemon however I may use it as it potentially could become a psychic type. And that would be awesome. I would really like it to be fairy type but that wont happen.
Froakie (Water)
The Water-type Pokemon Froakie is both light and strong, making it capable of jumping incredibly high. The bubbles on its chest and back protect it from attacks. Froakie may appear absentminded, but in truth it pays close attention to its surroundings at all times. Froakie, hmm ..... don't know what to say reminds me of palpitoad. Its not really original I say but I'll probably use this first. As I think playing with a water type is my best chance off completing this game.
Legendary Pokemon
Xerneas (New type to be revealed). Very mysterious however reminds me off Virizion which was released just a year ago so nothing special. And to be honest it reminds of Deerling ans Sawbucks. On the other hand I like its horns. Maybe it cant be affected by Pokemon off other types except its weakness like spirit bomb.
Yveltal (New type to be revealed) This Pokemon had Cobalions face however it seems to be a flying type. It has its own special move. I know that from the trailer I think I want this Pokemon more than the first.
Mew, Mewtwo, Mewthree (not really sure but definite connection) Well its still awesome. Its tail is growing from its head and its eyes are bigger. It also has sausage feet and hands (maybe these amplify its psychic powers). I have this feelng that Mewtwo will lose its super powers and this is it's weaker form or something.
Mega Mewtwo (Psychic)
Mega Mewtwo (Psychic)
Fairy type Pokemon
A new type has been reveled the 'Fairy type' and its super effective against dragon types (Yay). New evolution of Eevee...Sylveon (weird right). This is a first time I've seen a Pokemon with bows and ribbons which are part of its body. However it is stronger than dragon types so that's an upside. This Pokemon was totally made for girls.
Sylveon (Fairy)
Sylveon (Fairy)
Marill (Water/Fairy) a tough decision will have to be made if you want Azumarill a water type or Marill a water/fairy type. This is what I think will happen.
Gardevoir (Psychic/Fairy) is getting another boost in power amazing Now it can destroy dragon type too. I'm impressed but no shocked.
Jigglypuff (Normal/Fairy) I think they made Jigglypuff a part fairy type because it's very unpopular With this power boost Jigglypuff may be more likable (I honestly don't think so), I'm quite surprised Clefairy wasn't made into a fairy type
Pokemon
Noivern (Flying/Dragon)
Noivern is extremely combative toward anything that wanders too close to it. It flies through even the darkest nights using ultrasonic waves it emits from its ears. This Pokemon loves fruit, and feeding it fruit will keep it calm. This Pokemon has only one evolution that's my thought. It seems to be a mixture off Zubat and Whismur and its evolution's.
Vivillon (Bug/Flying)
The Bug- and Flying-type Pokemon Vivillon uses its wings to scatter its scales or create a strong wind to attack. Vivillon is said to have a secret hidden in the colorful decorative pattern on its wings. This Pokemon in my opinion should also be a fairy type it fits the bill. But it seems to be cheerlful. I
Helioptile (Electric/Normal)
Helioptile charges itself by bathing in the light of the sun, providing it with enough energy that it doesn't need to eat!
Helioptile charges itself by bathing in the light of the sun, providing it with enough energy that it doesn't need to eat!
Fletchling (Normal/Flying)
With a friendly nature and a beautiful chirp, Fletchling is a popular Pokemon among trainers. But Fletchling is also known to be ferocious in battle, capable of unleashing relentless attacks. It can use flame charge hope it turns into a fire type. It resembles a Japanese Robin exactly.
Pancham (Fighting)
With its trademark leaf always sticking out of its mouth, Pancham tries to intimidate its opponents by glaring at them intensely (although this rarely successful). This Pokemon is kind off cute It will probably have evolution's so cant wait to see the results.
Gogoat (Grass)
Gogoat is so large that people are able to ride on its back. It's very calm, and can form a strong bond with its Trainer's feelings when its Trainer grabs onto its horns. Now this is a Pokemon I could be proud off it looks amazing and has a great new move. I'm sure this will be a very powerful Pokemon I hope it doesnt only have grass type moves.
Litleo (Fire/Normal)
The hot-blooded Litleo is always ready for a good fight! Its mane blazes with heat during battle, burning hotter and hotter the stronger its opponent. This Pokemon looks like a joke. It reminds of Chimchar. However this seems to be a mix of a monkey and a little bear.
Flabébé (Fairy)
Another newly discovered Fairy-type Pokemon, Flabébé clings to a flower early on, and then cares for it for its entire life. Because of this, Flabébé may be found holding flowers of different colors. This is a Fairy type and it draws it's powers from flowers.
Talonflame (Fire/Flying)
An evolved form of the recently announced Fletchling, Talonflame is a Fire- and Flying-type Pokémon that gains a whole new level of speed and firepower. It dives at foes, and then attacks with devastating kicks. Talonflame is the evolved form of Fletchling. (Picture Below) Talonflame looks so cool and is the only Fire/Flying type since Moltres.
Fletchling (Flying)
Clauncher (Water)
Clauncher is easily recognizable by the oversized claw on one of its arms. This useful claw can seize prey and shoot water at others as a projectile! (Crabby number two that's my opinion) I have a feeling that to make this Pokemon evolve you have to trade it with Skrelp (Picture Below)
Skrelp (Poison/Water)
Disguised by its shape, Skrelp pretends to be a piece of seaweed. When prey gets too close, Skrelp bathes it in poison to keep it from struggling. Same goes for this Pokemon I feel that you have to trade it with Clauncher to make it evolve.
That's all for the new Pokemon so far now I will talk about the rest off the new intel.
Scatterbug (Bug)
The Bug-type Scatterbug resides mostly in forests and wild plains. After Scatterbug has reached a high enough level, it will evolve into Spewpa.
Spewpa (Bug)
Spewpa is the middle Pokémon of this evolutionary chain. With enough experience gained from battle, Spewpa will eventually evolve into Vivillon.
Vivillon (Flying/Bug)
In its final Evolution, in addition to becoming stronger, Vivillon also changes its type. You can continue to level up the Pokémon to make it even stronger! (I've already talked about this Pokemon in my last Pokemon X and Y blog)
Honedge (Steel/Ghost)
Honedge comes into being when a departed spirit inhabits a sword that once belonged to humans. It can use the blue cloth attached to its hilt as nimbly as an arm. If you were to carelessly take this blade in hand, you may find that blue cloth wrapping around you...draining the energy from your body! (Our typical Ghost type Pokemon then). I have a feeling that this Pokemon will not evolve and if it does it will have to be traded to achieve it's maximum potential. The only move we know that Honedge will have is Sword Dance which in my opinion is an amazing move to use to boost your Pokemon's power. I think they should make new Ghost and Steel type moves for this Pokemon as there aren't many strong moves in both of these categories.
My opinion on this Pokemon is that it is cool. And I think this will be the first Ghost type Pokemon which will have decent stats unlike others we have seen previously throughout the Pokemon series. Honedge will be part Steel type therefore Ground type moves will be super effective against it however it probably will have the special effect ''Levitate''. Levitate causes the Pokemon to be
raised(like Flying - type Pokemon). Raised Pokemon are not affected by Ground-type moves, Spikes, Toxic Spikes nor Arena Trap. Raised Pokemon are any Pokemon that hover above the ground - specifically Flying types, Pokemon with the Levitate ability or those under the effects of Magnet Rise or Telekinesis. Pokemon no longer stay raised (and cannot become raised) if Gravity or Ingrain is in effect, the move Smack Down is used against them, or Iron Ball is held. Fire type moves will also be super effective against Honedge. And as Honedge is part Ghost type it isn't affected by the super effective Fighting type which would in some ways destroy a Steel type Pokemon. Honedge isn't affected by Poison type Pokemon as like I have said it is part Steel type and Poison type moves have no effect against Steel type Pokemon. Ghost and Dark type moves are super effective against Ghost type Pokemon however as it is part Steel type these moves won't be super effective against it.
Pangora (Fighting/Dark)
Pangoro is the evolved form of Pancham. It's a cantankerous Pokémon, but it has a strong heart and doesn't forgive those who pick on the weak. For all those who don't know what the word cantankerous means. It means something that is Bad-tempered, argumentative, and uncooperative. I have a feeling this Pokemon won't listen to its trainers commands.
Inkay (Dark/Psychic)
Transmitters above Inkay's eyes have the ability to drain the will to fight from other Pokémon. It uses this skill to run and hide when attacked by stronger enemies. Inkay's ability is ''Contrary''. Which means that if any effect that would lower its stats the opposite would happen. Therefore raising it's stats instead. The transmitters above Inkay's eyes are also used to communicate with other Pokemon of it's kind. Topsy-Turvy is a new Dark type move that Inkay can learn. This move reverses all stat changes affecting a target Pokemon. this is very useful in double battles.
Malamar (Dark/Psychic)
The evolved form of Inkay, Malamar wields some of the strongest hypnotic powers of any Pokémon and can make its opponents bend to its will. Malamar looks different from Inkay and has different stats however its ''Contrary'' ability is still the same. It is also a Dark Psychic type. There is never a shortage of trainers attempting to use Malamar to achieve there own nefarious purposes. Malamar can learn Hypnosis, which lulls opponents to sleep. Most Pokemon can do virtually nothing whilst they are asleep.
Swirlix (Fairy)
Exclusive to Pokémon X, Swirlix loves sweets and eats nothing else, making its body as sweet and sticky as cotton candy. I have a feeling this Pokemon will be like Vanilite from Generation 5. Swirlix's ''Sweet Veil'' ability is new to Pokemon X and Y. It keeps Swirlix's Pokemon tea-mates from falling asleep. In battle Swirlix shoots out strings of cotton candy like sticky threads to bind its opponents.
Spritzee (Fairy)
Spritzee the sprite in my words. Spritzee is a Pokémon that can be found in the wild only in Pokémon Y. It emits a unique fragrance from its body, and any who smell it fall under its spell. Spritzee's fragrance changes based on its diet. Spritzee can learn a new move Draining Kiss which is a new Fairy Type move. Draining kiss damages the target while restoring dome HP to its user.
Skiddo (Grass)
The gentle-natured Skiddo is said to have been the first Pokémon to live alongside humans. Thanks to living with humans so long, it doesn't seem to mind carrying people or loads on its back. Skiddo evolves into Gogoat, another Pokémon you'll be able to ride! Skiddo has been known to be able to read the feelings of its riders through its horns. When a Pokemon uses leaf blade it wields a sharp leaf to slice like a sword. With its high power and its penchant for landing critical hits. There's nothing dicey about Leaf Blade.
Dedenne (Electric/Fairy)
The round shape of Dedenne makes this Fairy-type Pokémon instantly recognizable. Dedenne has the Cheek Pouch Ability, new to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. If a Pokémon with this Ability eats a Berry during battle, it will not only reap the usual benefits of that Berry, but will also be able to regain HP. (Looks like Raichu, (definitely will be part Electric). By emitting radio waves from its antenna shaped whiskers it can communicate with far - off allies. (So most of its moves will be sound based). Dedenne can plug its tail into sockets and drain them (New anime idea). Dedenne can learn a new move called Nuzzle which will do damage and will paralyze its opponents.
Bunnelby (Normal)
It is said that the Normal-type Pokémon Bunnelby creates its den by digging in the ground with its large, shovel-shaped ears. Bunnelby's ears are strong enough to chop through thick tree roots, making it to be a force to be reckoned with in battle. Like Dedenne, Bunnelby can have the Cheek Pouch ability to make full use of its berries. Bunnelby can learn the move Dig this move is useful as during double battles it wont get hurt by most attacks whilst under ground.
Doublade (Steel/Ghost)
Tyrunt (Dark/Rock)
Tyrunt is an ancient Pokémon from another age, and to add it to your team, you'll have to restore it from a Fossil. You can choose between two Fossils during your adventure in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y—Tyrunt can be obtained by restoring the Jaw Fossil. It is believed that Tyrunt is over 1 hundred million years old. The Pokemon is known to be a bit selfish, and will throw a fit when it doesn't like something. Tyrunt and Amaru are ancient Pokemon that can be added to your team by restoring them from fossils. You will be able to restore fossils by gong to the fossil lab. Tyrunt has the new Strong Jaw ability, which increases the power of biting moves such as Crunch. Tyrunt can learn the move dragon tail which gets an extra power-boost as it is part Dragon type.
Tyrantrum (Dark/Rock)
Tyrantrum is the evolved form of Tyrunt. Nothing could stop this Pokémon 100 million years ago, so it behaved like a king! Tyrantrum most powerful weapon is its gargantuan jaws, which can shred through thick metal plates as if they were paper. Tyrantrum can learn the move Head Smash, the user focuses its energy in its head then unleashes this power. Head Smash boasts great power however the user will take some recoil damage, too.
Amaru (Ice/Rock)
To obtain Amaura, you'll need to restore the Sail Fossil. Choose wisely whether you want Tyrunt or Amaura when you pick between the Jaw and Sail Fossil! Amaura has the Refrigerate Ability, a new Ability in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. It turns Normal-type moves into Ice-type moves. Like Tyrunt Amaru is believed to be 1 hundred million years old. Amaru can learn the potent move Aurora Beam early on in the game therefore make use of this move.
Aurorus
The evolved form of Amaura, Aurorus can blast freezing cold air to damage enemies. Aurorus can also last air from a wall of ice to protect itself from attacks. Aurorus can learn the new ice type move Freeze-Dry. This move is exclusive to Pokemon X and Y and can leave the target Pokemon frozen. Ice type moves are typically not very effective against water types however Freeze-Dry is super effective against them.
Furfrou
The stylish Pokémon Furfrou can have its appearance changed by grooming. There are number of different appearances it can take, and the more you groom it, the more styles may become available! If you leave Furfrou's style untended for a few days, its fur will grow long and shaggy again, returning to its original look. Keep a regular grooming schedule to maintain Furfrou's style! Furfrou isn't just stylish, it is loyal to its trainer. It is said in ancient times Furfrou protected the king of Kalos. Trimming Furfrou's shaggy hair can transform it into a number of beautiful appearances. Furfrou's Fur Coat ability which debuts in Pokemon X and Y, halves the damage from physical attacks.
Meowstic
Meowstic is a Pokémon that has different forms depending on its gender. Not only do male and female Meowstic look different, but they also have different moves they can learn! Males learn defensive moves whereas females learn offensive moves such as extrasensory.
